Privacy Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026

Larsian is a personal agent that works on your behalf. To do that it keeps your conversations, files and the things you ask it to remember. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and how you can see, export or delete your data.

What we collect

We only collect what Larsian needs to work for you.

  • Waitlist. Your email address and the time you joined, if you join the waitlist on our website.
  • Account. Your name, email address and the account ID from Apple or Google when you sign in.
  • Conversations. Your messages, Larsian's replies and the steps it took, including the results of searches, pages it read and commands it ran.
  • Files. Files you attach and files Larsian creates on its computer for you, including backups of that computer and screenshots of pages it visits.
  • Memory. Facts you ask Larsian to remember, and a searchable index of past conversations so it can recall them.
  • Routines. Schedules, watches and background tasks you set up, with what each one checks and when it last ran.
  • Calendar. If you turn on phone calendar access, the title, time, location and calendar name of your events for the next two weeks. We never copy event notes. If you connect Google Calendar, a token that lets Larsian read and add events.
  • Email. If you connect Gmail, the email address and Google app password you give Larsian, stored encrypted, which let it search and read your messages, add and remove labels, archive or trash threads, and write and send drafts. If you connect Outlook, a token from Microsoft that allows the same for your Outlook or Microsoft 365 mail. Larsian reads messages when a request or routine needs them and keeps only what ends up in your conversations.
  • Microsoft calendar and OneDrive. If you connect Outlook, the same Microsoft token lets Larsian read and add events in your Outlook calendar, find and read files in your OneDrive, and save files you ask it to into a Larsian folder there. Larsian reads a file when a request needs it and keeps only what ends up in your conversations or its computer.
  • Things you share. Text, links, photos and files you send to Larsian from another app's share sheet, which arrive as a new chat.
  • Contacts, reminders and location. If you allow them on your phone, Larsian reads your contacts, your reminders or where you are only when a request needs it, on your phone. Only the matching people, reminders or place are sent with that request, and they're kept as part of the conversation.
  • Connected services. If you connect a service such as GitHub or Notion, the access it grants Larsian, stored so it can act when you ask.
  • Voice. Recordings you make by holding the microphone or in voice mode are turned into text and then discarded. Text Larsian reads aloud is turned into audio on the fly.
  • Website visits. When you visit larsian.com, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you reached the site, which parts you interact with, and your approximate location and device type. In the EU, UK and Switzerland it does this without analytics cookies.
  • Device. A push notification token, your time zone, and basic technical logs such as errors and request times.

How we use it

We use your data to provide Larsian: to answer you, carry out the tasks you give it, remember what matters to you, run your routines on time and notify you when something is done or needs your approval.

We also use limited technical data to keep the service secure, fix problems and understand performance.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models.

Who helps us run Larsian

A small number of companies process data so Larsian can work. Each only receives what its part of the service needs.

  • Cloudflare. Hosts Larsian, stores your data, runs the AI models that write Larsian's replies, transcribe voice and read images, and provides the browser Larsian uses on the web.
  • Apple and Google. Handle sign-in. Google Calendar and Gmail receive requests only if you connect them.
  • Microsoft. Handles Outlook sign-in. Outlook mail, calendar and OneDrive receive requests only if you connect them.
  • Expo. Delivers push notifications to your device.
  • Google Analytics. Measures visits to our website so we can understand what people look for.
  • Amazon Web Services. Sends emails from Larsian, such as your waitlist confirmation.
  • Services you connect. Receive the requests Larsian makes on your behalf, under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Websites and search. When Larsian searches or browses for you, the sites it visits see those requests the way they would from any browser.

Google user data

If you connect Google Calendar, Larsian uses that access only to read and add events when you ask, or when a routine you set up needs your schedule. If you connect Gmail, Larsian uses your app password only to find, read, organise, draft and send email when you ask, or when a routine you set up needs your mail. You can revoke the app password at any time in your Google account. Larsian's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and people at Larsian do not read it unless you ask us to for support or the law requires it.

Microsoft user data

If you connect Outlook, Larsian uses that access only to find, read, organise, draft and send email, read and add calendar events, and find, read and save OneDrive files, when you ask or when a routine you set up needs them. We do not use Microsoft user data for advertising, and people at Larsian do not read it unless you ask us to for support or the law requires it. You can remove Larsian's access in Settings, then Connectors, or from your Microsoft account.

What Larsian does on your behalf

Larsian can run commands, browse websites, fill in forms and act in services you connect. You choose how much it does on its own in each chat. Under Ask first and Auto it stops for your approval before anything that deletes files or spends money. Everything it does is shown in the conversation.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you have an account, so Larsian can keep helping you. You can delete individual chats, files, memories and routines at any time. Waitlist emails are kept until we invite you or you ask us to remove yours. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.

Your choices and rights

  • See what Larsian remembers in Settings, then Memory, and remove anything.
  • Turn calendar, contacts, reminders and location access, notifications and connected services on or off at any time.
  • Delete your account in Settings. This permanently erases your chats, files, memories, routines, calendar copy and connections, including the stored Gmail app password and Microsoft token, and revokes Larsian's access to Google Calendar.
  • Ask us for a copy of your data or for corrections by emailing support@larsian.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to object to or restrict processing, or to complain to your data protection authority. We'll honour them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Each person's computer, files and memory are kept separate from everyone else's. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach affects your data we'll tell you promptly.

Children

Larsian is not for children under 13, or under the age of digital consent where you live. We don't knowingly collect data from them, and we delete it if we learn we have.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app before the change applies. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
